The quartet brings together two Turkish and two German musicians: Ayşe Cansu Tanrikulu (voice) and Korhan Erel (electronics) with the duo Ulrike Brand (cello) and Olaf Rupp (electric guitar).
Your specific worlds of sound will blend into a colorful spectrum of the most varied of musical impulses on the citadel. Ayşe Cansu Tanrikulu had a steep career as a jazz singer in recent years, with branches in free improvisation. Korhan Erel is an experimental electronics technician who also works with visual and scenic elements and texts, composes and makes stage music. The cellist Ulrike Brand originally comes from contemporary music and moves across the entire spectrum between composition and free improvisation and has been playing in a duo with Olaf Rupp (electric guitar), veteran and fanal of free improvisation for many years.
