Sunday 22.3.2026 2.00 p.m. - 4.00 p.m.
On this walk, organised in cooperation with the Jugendgeschichtswerkstatt, we invite you to see Spandau’s Old Town from a different perspective. Stolpersteine (stumbling stones) are laid in memory of people who were persecuted under the Nazi regime. Each stone represents an individual life and fate shaped by this injustice. Spandau’s Old Town is home to numerous Stolpersteine, each of which has a story to tell. How, for example, did Jewish children experience persecution, and what became of those who survived?
During our walk through Spandau’s Old Town, we will explore together the lives and fates of the people who were persecuted, displaced, and murdered in Spandau, as well as the ways in which they are remembered today.
/ Meeting point: The event does not take place at Spandau Citadel; the meeting point is in front of the Gothic House (Stolpersteine for the Oehl family).
/ Free of charge
