Sunday 29.6.2025 3.00 p.m. - 4.00 p.m.
Discover the historic battlements of the Spandau Citadel on a special guided tour and explore the atmospheric passages of the casemates. These areas are only accessible from May to August, as they serve as a winter refuge for several thousand bats and must remain undisturbed for conservation reasons during the colder months. The focus of the tour is the northern curtain wall (Nordkurtine). The tour also includes a visit to the exhibition room Pulvermagazin in the Queen’s Bastion, offering deeper insights into the use and history of the fortress.
Take this opportunity to explore a part of the citadel that is usually closed to the public and learn more about its historical significance. The tour is offered in cooperation with the Heimatkundliche Vereinigung Spandau 1954 e. V.
The tour will be in German.
