The Schaudepot Bastion Königin displays monuments that have been removed from the public space for various reasons. It sees itself as an experimental exhibition space: every year, invited curators from the fields of science, art and education develop new approaches to the objects.
This year, an exhibition by students of museology (HTW Berlin) will be shown. They deal with highly topical questions: How do we deal with National Socialist, colonialist or racist sculptures of the past today? Show them? Contextualise? Intervene?
