We are in the year 1588, the citadel is the pride of the elector – the fortress is designed according to modern Italian architecture. The fortress commander Dietrich von Holtzendorff or his wife Ursula welcome the people and visitors for a tour of the citadel. Of course the commander is proud of “his” fortress. But he doesn’t want to miss out on the story of “Spandow” either.
His clever wife Ursula also has a lot to tell about the fortress and the founding of “Spandow”. Likewise, all sorts of courtly chatter that makes the rounds.

On this very special tour, you get an insight into the history of the fortress from the perspective of Mr. Holtzendorff or his wife and move through other times for an hour.

Please note that the Christmas market takes place at the same time with separate entrance fees. Buy your museum ticket as usual at the gate and get access to the exhibition rooms and the outdoor area at the Spandau Citadel.
