Hygiene concept
According to the currently valid regulations of the State of Berlin, a maximum limit is set for the visitors who are present at the same time. Distance rules at the stands, in the waiting and lounge areas are marked and enforced in accordance with the applicable regulations. A one-way street rule applies to all visitors on the site. In some areas there is an obligation to wear a face-to-face mask.

Free entry to the Christmas market

In one of the most beautiful locations in Berlin, the Spandau Citadel, which is illuminated for Christmas, is a wonderful new Christmas market for visitors from near and far.

In the interior of the Spandau Citadel, artisans and traders in gastronomic specialties are now to find a new home during the Advent season. The offer is supplemented by some historical rides (e.g. historical children’s carousel, historical ship swing, etc.).

Fire baskets provide further visual stimuli and a warming place that invite you to linger and linger in the cold season.

  • Further attractions are planned:Ice rink / artificial ice rink – curling / ice stock rink
  • Christmas crib with live sheep
  • Winter open-air cinema
  • Tower blowers play well-known Christmas carols
  • Medieval artists * play old melodies on historical instruments
  • Historic rides – children’s carousel / ship swing

Wednesdays are family days: reduced prices at all stands

Monday 2 p.m. – 9 p.m.
Tuesday 2 p.m. – 9 p.m.
Wednesday 2 p.m. – 9 p.m.
Thursday 2 p.m. – 9 p.m.
Friday 2 p.m. – 10 p.m.
Saturday 12 p.m. – 10 p.m.
Sunday 12 p.m. – 9 p.m.

The citadel opens daily at 10 a.m. to all visitors.
