Artist Talk: Abie Franklin

ZAK – Center for Contemporary Art

Wednesday 3.4.2024 7.00 p.m. - 8.00 p.m.

In his exhibition in the project space, Abie Franklin reflects on the concept of “anti-landscapes”. This describes exploited landscapes, the devaluation of which is also transferred to the people who live there.
In dialogue with Julien Rathje, the artist explores the question of why the exhibition title AntE-Landscapes contains a small but subtle variation and what perspectives artistic abstraction can give us on the observation of power relations in spatial structures.
