“Don’t let me get me,” sings Alecia Beth Moore, better known as P!nk, in her 2001 song of the same name. What she and we call “me” can be looked at from different perspectives and itself has different dimensions that can overlap or contradict each other. In this context, Raphael Nagel’s exhibition “Lass mich nicht kriegen” questions the self-analysis of body and subjectivity. It is about the process of construction. But where does this begin, how does it proceed, and where can it lead? Raphael Nagel, his alter ego and Julien Rathje explore these questions on the basis of the exhibition concept.
