Berlin artists devote themselves to the complexity of skin, which shows the interconnectedness of, among other things, sexism, racism, classism and age discrimination and, as a sensual, resistant and yet vulnerable organ, makes it the starting point for artistic analysis. They countered the male-dominated place with feminist counter-narratives.
