Touch Tour | Unveiled. Berlin and its Monuments

Proviantmagazin

Thursday 5.9.2024 3.00 p.m. - 4.30 p.m.

Touch Tour invites individuals who are blind or have low vision to a dialogical perceptual tour through the permanent exhibition Unveiled. Berlin and its Monuments. The tour is primarily aimed at blind and visually impaired people, but sighted visitors are also welcome. They all receive historical information and detailed pictorial descriptions of selected objects in the exhibition and then explore them with different senses – by touching, smelling and hearing. Through their sensory impressions and sensations, they approach the objects in different ways. In the dialogue that develops, the different “views” of the objects become clear – a truly inclusive experience in the museum.
