On a tour of the exhibition, you will learn about old documents from the time of your grandparents, great-grandparents and great-great-grandparents as well as the time before that, most of which were still written by hand with a pen, pencil, fountain pen or on typewriters. Afterwards, you can try out the old writing techniques for yourself and practise writing old scripts with pen and ink, slate and stylus or on mechanical typewriters. Historical postcards are available for you to send postcard greetings from Spandau and for the New Year.
