The Wolfgang-Borchert-Schule, which has previously had two locations, will be merged at the Blumenstraße 13 location as part of the Berlin school building campaign. The buildings erected in 1957 as a secondary school are expanded to include various multifunctional rooms.
The two artists Maria Anwander and Ruben Aubrecht won the art in architecture competition with the title “Lichtblick in die Vergangenheit”.

The Spandauer Neustadt receives a new building for youth work. With the Triftstraße location, a long planning phase with intensive citizen and user participation has been concluded. As part of her participatory artistic work, the artist Cécile Belmont will implement an art in architecture project with the future users of the building, which is entitled “Handschrift”.

The Christoph-Földerich-Schule is getting a new sports hall as part of a long-term renovation process. This frees up the old sports hall for a new cafeteria. In the entrance area of the sports hall with stairs and elevator, an art-in-building work will be implemented as a hanging light sculpture.
The design by the artist Tatjana Schülke with the title “HOLLA HOOP” won the competition.
