The splendid Italian Courtyards are to be found in the mound in the Bastion Brandenburg. They are one of the oldest parts of the Citadel. The five impressive brick-walled barrel vaults create a special atmosphere and make the courtyards a much sought-after event location. The impressive Renaissance architecture is not only visible from the inside but also in the outer area.
