Thursday 10.8.2023 6.00 p.m. - 8.00 p.m.
Bernhard C. Striebel and art historian Bettina Güldner will lead a dialogue through the evening. In conversation, they will explore the exhibition halls of the ZAK and how Bernhard C. Striebel has used them for his exhibition UND DANN. The handling of space, light, image, language and how these can change the perception of space play an important role.
Bettina Güldner works as a freelance art historian, curator and as a freelance mediator in research and teaching. Her focus is on the history of architecture and design of the 19th and 20th centuries. Of particular interest to Güldner are architectural historical studies of Berlin monuments, the design history of the Bauhaus, as well as Germany and its former socialist neighbouring countries. She also ran her own design gallery in Berlin from 2014 to 2018 and is involved in adult education at the Bauhaus Archive in Berlin and the Bauhaus Dessau Foundation. Since 2022, she has been a Bauhaus Fellow of the Klassik-Stiftung Weimar.
