The conversation between the artist Bernhard C. Striebel and the curator and art historian Dr Jens-Ole Rey, will tackle with exciting insights concretely into the works of the ZAK, as well as interpretations on dealing with space, colour, light and how these can change the perception of space.
Dr Jens-Ole Rey lives and works in Berlin. As an artistic director and curator he works in various municipal galleries in Spandau as well as the Centre for Contemporary Art (ZAK) at the Zitadelle Spandau. He is also involved as a specialized editor in a wide range of publications for museums. Rey studied architecture, classical archaeology, European art history and Romance studies. In 2011, he did his doctorate in art history. He is particularly interested in German architectural history from 1900 onwards, applied art and design.
