Join the curatorial team of Mood Indigo on a guided tour through the first retrospective of Ellen Banks’ (1938–2017) life’s work. In dialogue with the artist’s estate, the curators offer insights into the archiving process, artistic decisions, and their personal approach to the multifaceted legacy of an African American artist whose work lies at the intersection of music, abstraction, and memory.
The tour will be held in German. Each tour is led by a different member of the team, which may result in varying thematic focuses.
