Set between Falkenhagener Feld and the Spandau Citadel, the 1st Spandau Art Film Festival “Hoheitszeichen” moves through public spaces. A mobile moving-image sculpture serves as a projection screen for international art films that explore landscapes, consumer cultures, memories, and forms of collective identity. This gives rise to moments of humor, disorientation, and quiet melancholy.
“Hoheitszeichen” conceives of film as an encounter: open, fleeting, and shared along paths, meadows, and squares in the midst of everyday city life.
The mobile moving image sculpture will arrive at the Spandau Citadel around 5 p.m.
