Dialogic tour | „Windstille Nacht“

A conversational tour of the dual exhibition “Windstille Nacht” featuring the two artists Ewa Finn and Katharina Poos, as well as the ZAK curatorial team, Dr. Ralf F. Hartmann and Dr. Jens-Ole Rey.

In the works of both Ewa Finn and Katharina Poos, the figures move almost somnambulistically through symbolic pictorial spaces that offer no actual physical space. Their intensity stems from both conscious and unconscious references to religious motifs, the visual worlds of Romanticism, and current media photographs.

During the discussion, you’ll learn more about the background of the two artists’ fascinating visual worlds, their thematic ideas, and their artistic practices.
