Sunday 6.9.2026 12.00 p.m. - 3.59 p.m.
The exhibition “Unveiled. Berlin and Its Monuments” at the Spandau Citadel brings together an eclectic selection of Berlin monuments from various eras, creating an extraordinary space for artistic exploration. In this special atmosphere, where history can be experienced in multifaceted ways, we would like to explore and interpret the exhibition artistically together with the participants. In doing so, we combine on-site sketches with the creation of experimental collages using various materials. This multi-layered approach opens up individual perspectives and enables a personal and artistic engagement with the site. We draw inspiration from the works of Adolph Menzel, William Kentridge, and Christo, among others, translating their approaches into our own creative processes.
/ The workshop is led by Maria and Natalia Petschatnikov (www.petschatnikov.de)
/ Participation is free of charge; materials will be provided
/ Suitable for beginners and advanced participants
